I am an advocate for Online Child Safety.

I am extremely passionate & driven about this subject.

I don't break a confidence & try to help if asked.

I keep my promises & expect the same in return.

I have profiles/groups on here & on MySpace that are aimed at keeping it safe for children & teens.

I have 3 sons & 5 gr.children ~ 1 is a Special Needs child plus I have 1 step-gr.daughter.

My Heritage is Scottish ~ Irish ~ German ~ English ~ American Indian.

I tend to tell it like it is & it gets me into trouble from time to time lol.

I'm a very curious & analytical person. If I want to understand someone or something someone says I ask questions to get a better understanding.

I collect Angels, Unicorns & Snowglobes (waterballs).

I have NO tolerance for fools, morons or smart - mouthed rude & inconsiderate assholes.

I don't judge others on their lifestyle choices, religion or race as long as your choices don't harm another human or animals.

I don't like pushy people so if you ask me something that I don't think is any of your business .. don't be surprised if I refuse to answer you or just tell you its none of your business.

Sorry but I'm not the kind of online friend who leaves lots of comments or sends lots of messages.

Kathy, through out time we only get to meet a very small number of extraordinary people - I'm so glad you came across my path - Can that be G*d, Can that be destiny? We do not know, but we all know how special and how much joy you can bring to that special someone.

In the name of each child that you have help and in my name we want to thank you for all your unconditional and extraordinary efforts to make this world a little more special for many of us. Thank you for all the good times, for all the support, and for all those smiles and beautiful things you do for all of us. On my last comment I left an extra html tag closing the font atribute that was making it so big. If you scroll down you'll see a bunch of messages with big fonts.... It should be fixed now.

Kathy...looks like somebody left you an open html tag!!!!! your messages are coming up with big fonts. Try closing them with <*font> or <*/p> if it doesn't work then I guess you can ask Olivia or Siko to help you out.

Anyway, I'm sending you a comment because I been trying to send you messages but I'm not sure if you getting them.....

There might be other html tags to use if the ones I suggested do not work.

IT'S OUR DUTY TO PASS THIS ON

BLUE RIBBON AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

My name is Sarah
I am but three,
my eyes are swollen
I cannot see.

I must be stupid,
I must be bad,
what else could have made
my daddy so mad?

I wish I were better,
I wish I weren't ugly,
then maybe my Mommy
would still want to hug me.

I can't speak at all,
I can't do a wrong
or else I'm locked up
all the day long.

When I awake I'm all alone
the house is dark
my folks aren't home.

When my Mommy does come
I'll try and be nice,
so maybe I'll get just
one whipping tonight.

Don't make a sound!
I just heard a car
my daddy is back
from Charlie's Bar.

I hear him curse
my name he calls
I press myself
against the wall.

I try and hide
from his evil eyes
I'm so afraid now
I'm starting to cry.

He finds me weeping
he shouts ugly words,
he says its my fault
that he suffers at work.

He slaps me and hits me
and yells at me more,
I finally get free
and I run for the door. He's already locked it
and I start to bawl,
he takes me and throws me
against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor
with my bones nearly broken,
and my daddy continues
with more bad words spoken.

'I'm sorry!' I scream
but its now much too late
his face has been twisted
into unimaginable hate.

The hurt and the pain
again and again
oh please God, have mercy!
oh please let it end!

And he finally stops
and heads for the door,
while I lay there motionless
sprawled on the floor.

My name is Sarah
and I am but three,
tonight my daddy
murdered me.
There are thousands of kids out there just like Sarah. And you can help

It sickens me to my soul, and if you just read this and don't pass it on I pray for your forgiveness, because you would have to be one heartless person to not be affected by this email. And because you are affected, do something about it!! So all I am asking you to do is take some time to send this on and acknowledge that this stuff does happen, and that people like her dad do live in our society, and pray for child abuse to wither out and die, but also pray for the safety of our youth.

Please pass this poem on as a Blue Ribbon Against Child Abuse because, as crazy as it might sound, it might just indirectly change a life.
