I am lost and confused. Still trying to get all the hidden gluten out of my diet. Once that happens I should be off to a good start. They claim I must be cleared of it for 2 weeks before I start feeling better. Any suggestions?

Hi Karen,

Find a good healthy store in your area (whole food, trader joes, etc... that has a gluten free section). You should be able to find everything from pasta to cookies (i love pamela's cookies) and much of it doesn't taste that bad. Really.

Just so you know, it takes some people much longer than 2 weeks to feel completely better. The gluten might be out of your system, but the inflammation response can take longer to revert. My belly started feeling better right away, and the other health problems I was having took months to clear up, but I am happy to say I have been feeling GREAT. So don't be discouraged if it takes a little longer to feel better, just keep eating GF (gluten free).
